How often should I see the dentist?

It is recommended that the best way to look after your teeth and dental hygiene is to visit your dentist regularly, preferably every six months for a check up, clean and fluoride treatment. We offer a no gap health fund payment for this service.

Is there parking available?

There is free-metered parking (1hr) out the front of Dental on Beaumont on Beaumont Street. For disabled patients, we have parking space at the back of the surgery as well as an entrance with no stairs.

I’m nervous about dental treatment. What are my options?

At Dental on Beaumont we offer chair side sedation in the surgery, which is often termed twilight or sleep dentistry. We can also provide treatment under a general anaesthetic at Hunter Valley Private Hospital, where the patient is put to sleep for all their dental treatment. 

At what age should I take my child for a check up?

It is best to start early so your child is comfortable seeing the dentist and is happy sitting in the chair. We recommend before your child’s first birthday.

When does my child loose their teeth?

This varies from child to child but generally the milk teeth start falling out at 6-8 years of age.

What payment options do you have?

For your convenience we offer Hi-caps for instant health fund claims, as well as Eftpos facilities. We accept MasterCard, Visa, cash and also take cheques made out to Dental on Beaumont. Please note that treatment provided during your visit must be paid for at the time of your appointment.
